From the first time you call us, you’ll see you’re not dealing with the average exterior-remodeling company. You’re dealing with nice, caring, accommodating PEOPLE—who also happen to run an exterior-remodeling company.

We’re passionate about providing homeowners in the St. Louis metro area with world-class results while creating fun and pleasant experiences. We don’t see your project as “just a job”; we see it as an opportunity to help you achieve something special. And we take that responsibility very seriously.

The reason we’re this way? Our team. We’re the kind of company whose employees attend one another’s backyard BBQs, help each other with our own home projects, and dog-sit when someone goes on vacation. Simply put, we’re a tight-knit group who are more than just coworkers—we’re family.

When you’re our customer, you are part of our family. Maybe that sounds cliché, but it’s 100% true. Some of our customers have hired us for over half a dozen jobs because we genuinely care about them, their homes, and their projects. They know they can unequivocally trust us to do what’s in their best interest because we’re just as invested in the outcome as they are.

Below, you’ll find biographies about the people you’ll be working with. This will give you key insight into who we are and the values we find important.

Lisa Sanning

Owner/Accounting & Marketing

“Three words that most people would use to describe me would be compassionate, honest, and funny.  

My favorite people are those who enjoy laughing, work hard, treat others kindly, aren’t judgmental, and are just good honest people. I’m hardly a perfect person, but I believe the easiest thing to do in life is to be kind, and I try my best to do this every day.

My family means everything to me, especially my two-year-old granddaughter, Ivy, who is my favorite person on earth. That little lady makes me laugh and smile constantly. She definitely keeps me on my toes—she is the entertainer in the family for sure! I’ve been called an ‘Ivy hog’ because I would have her with me every single day if I could. But for some strange reason, her parents won’t let me. 

My other two favorite family members are my pups, Niko and Phoebe. They are pit bull mixes that Jason and I rescued over the last seven years.  After a long hard day running the business, these two are my stress relievers. They’re happy faces and slobbery kisses can really help strip away a rough day.

My daughter and mom live within a few miles of me, and I have three sisters and a niece that live in other states. Most of my family is spread out across the US due to being in the military. My dad is retired Army, my sister was in the Air Force, my cousin was in the Marine’s, my grandpa and uncle were Navy, and so on. There is a great respect for our men and women who serve or have served our country in my family. 

Due to my father being in the Army, we moved a lot. This can definitely make or break a kid. Every three years was a different school, different house, different friends.  I’m thankful I survived this lifestyle and gained many good qualities from it such as people skills, being able to adapt to change, and unrivaled packing skills (helpful when loading and unloading for home-improvement shows!).

I worked for State Farm Insurance in an agent’s office and had my agents license as well for 6-1/2 years. This allowed me to learn a lot about claims and homeowner’s insurance policies, which definitely is helpful in this industry. I worked for a large home improvement company as their Marketing Director for just over six years as well. 

The people skills I picked up along the way really taught me how to communicate well with others, listen to their needs, and really hear them. I want a homeowner to get the best experience with my company they could possibly imagine. Sometimes there are issues that may happen along the way, issues out of our control, but my company and employees are all here to do everything we can to make sure we pick up the pieces and recover with the homeowner recognizing we do care and we will do anything we can to make everything right. 

My belief on how to operate a business: ‘happy customers & happy employees = happy business’.”

Jason Quillman

Owner/Sales & Production

“I got my start in the industry knocking on doors for a large home-improvement company shortly after I turned 16 and received my driver’s license. In college, I installed vinyl siding part time through the summer to make some extra money. 

I didn’t originally intend to forge a career in home improvement. In college, I got a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management and Marketing. This might seem like a far cry from home improvement, but it’s an education that has helped me build one of the most trusted exterior-remodeling companies in the St. Louis metro area over the past 10 years.

Not to toot my own horn, but I am very good at working through tough situations and finding resolutions—I am passionate about figuring out solutions to problems that my competitors can’t recognize. Also, I just plain love helping people not only achieve their remodeling goals, but doing so beyond their expectations. 

My goal is to make my customers’ homes look better, be more energy efficient, and become easier to maintain. In a sense, I help them achieve more time and freedom, while providing them with a sense of pride in the ownership of their homes.

Outside of work, I am passionate about… 

  • My two dogs, Phoebe and Niko. They make me smile no matter what type of day I am having. 
  • Motorcycle racing. I road raced motorcycles at a professional level, which helped instill a great work ethic and ‘never give up’ attitude that I apply to our business every day. 
  • Golf. This is a newer passion of mine. I enjoy it because it’s a sport that is very difficult and can never be conquered. There is always room for improvement, which makes it an activity that’s right up my alley.

Fun fact: The ‘pickier’ a potential customer, the more likely I am to win the job. I love it when I provide a quote for someone like an engineer, architect, or anyone similarly obsessed with details. I’m on that same level, so my thoroughness and no-stone-unturned attitude can put even the most particular homeowner at ease.”

Jeff Wienecke

“I’m from Dellwood, MO and went to school in the Riverview Gardens School District. I began working for XteriorPRO/Window Depot USA of St. Louis in 2018, but my work experience stretches well beyond that. 

I’ve been in customer service for over 35 years, sales for over 20 years, and the home-exterior business for nearly a decade. Past places I have worked are Venture Stores, DePaul Health Center, ADT Security, Champion Windows, and Ricoh Office Machines.

I like interacting with our customers and getting them taken care of. It’s very rewarding to help someone start the process of improving their homes.

Outside of work, I like spending time with my family. I’ve been married for 30 years and have three kids and eight grandkids.”

Amanda Obernuefemann

Project Consultant

“I have been in the remodeling industry since 2013 and joined XteriorPRO/Window Depot USA of St. Louis in January 2018. My typical day includes roof inspections, preparing and presenting proposals, appointments with homeowners, checking in on jobsites, training, and office meetings.

I have a strong passion for home remodeling; I love seeing homes come to life. I genuinely enjoy helping people, and it has always been my main drive. Educating homeowners and helping transform their visions into a reality is very rewarding.

As for my passions outside of work, I love the outdoors. I have hiked trails all over the country, and I’m on a constant search to find more waterfalls and caves to explore. Working on my house and doing new projects is also always fun when I’m not coaching my kickball team or playing shortstop. 

Most importantly though, I love spending time with my family. I got married in September 2019, but the biggest news for the year is unexpectedly becoming a parent. Long story, but I am now a licensed foster parent of a very sweet five-month old foster son, whom we plan to adopt very soon. Our two dogs, Buddy and Frankie, love their new baby brother.”

“It’s safe to say I got my ‘remodeling genes’ from my father. He’s been building, remodeling, and doing repairs for over 40 years. I’ve been learning from him my whole life.

I have built houses, managed crews, and run various installation projects from commercial to residential over the years. I am EPA lead-certified, trained in OSHA 10, and served in the U.S. Army for five years as a mechanic.

I’ve worked for XteriorPRO/Window Depot USA of St. Louis since July 2017.  I enjoy the fast pace—there is never the same thing going on. But what I enjoy most is the people I work with. Everyone is easy to get along with, and we all work as a team.

In my spare time, I love playing with my two boys, which will become THREE boys in November 2019! (God love my wife—she has a lot of patience.) We enjoy rock crawling, fishing, and trying new things as a family.”

“I have been in the Financial Services/Sales industry for 25+ years. I have been in both sales and management positions, with a major focus on customer service. 

I believe my experience, in both financial services and customer service, will bring a fresh approach to the window-replacement industry. My skill set allows me to easily relate to customers, have in-depth needs-based conversations, and help provide solutions that align with what people really want. 

I am the proud grandfather of three, all from my daughter Samye, and my hobbies are limited pretty much to golf and exercise. I also like long walks in the park and sunsets on the beach.”

About XteriorPRO

Our company is an evolution nearly a decade in the making.

In 2011, we started a gutter-guard company that installed Leaf Solution. At the time, Leaf Solution was our only product offering. But we did such a fantastic job that people started asking us to perform other home-improvement projects. We were only too happy to oblige.

Before we knew it, we’d built a base of loyal homeowners who turned to us for ALL of their exterior-remodeling needs. In 2012, we thought, “Why not make it official?” So we formally expanded our business to offer windows, doors, roofing, and siding. That’s when XteriorPRO was born.

Business went from “0 to 60”… fast. We quickly became recognized as one of the top exterior remodelers in the St. Louis metro area because of our meticulous attention to detail and bend-over-backward service.

In 2017, we decided to take our services to the next level. We chose to shed our “lesser” product offerings and kept only the cream of the crop:

  • We ditched double pane windows and partnered with Window Depot USA to sell their best-in-class triple pane windows. We’re now the official Window Depot USA for the St. Louis Metropolitan market.
  • We kicked vinyl and wood siding to the curb and now offer only James Hardie fiber cement siding. 
  • We now install only GAF roofing that qualifies for the Golden Pledge Warranty (50 years on materials; 25 years on labor).

In our case, less is more. We may have gotten rid of a few products, but we kept the ones that provide the hands-down best value. As it turns out, homeowners in and around St. Louis and St. Charles Counties—especially the ones who crave the highest quality—prefer our “best or bust” approach because it guarantees they get the most for their money.

We’ve evolved a number of times since launching as an unassuming gutter-guard company in 2011. And the reason we keep evolving? Because homeowners who insist on superior-quality exterior remodeling in the St. Louis metro area demand it.
